What are some healthy but easy lunches?

22 February 2012 2 Comments

I want to start eating healthy but I want food that is good. I need it to be easy for that does not require any mircorwaves and can be stored in a brown paper bag. I was considering wraps but what type of lunch meat is the best? Also, what kinds of snacks are good with it, I’m not going to lie I love chips but I’m trying to get away from them and substitute them with something just as good. An suggestions on easy simple lunches would be greatly appreciated!

Turkey and chicken are lean white meats. Here’s a wrap that I really like. You take a tortilla, lay down some turkey, use salad from a bag to put on top of it, use a lowfat cheese on top of that, and some raspberry vinagrette dressing. It’s an awesome meal, and comes out around 4-500 calories, if you use a good tortilla.

lean chicken or turkey, tuna, other types of seafood are good. make sandwiches with pita bread or rolls. For snacks, try Parmesan cheese or apple cinnamon rice cakes, also low fat cheese and crackers, raw fruit, dried fruit, & nuts
